A Physical Therapist (PT) is a licensed healthcare professional who helps patients restore movement, improve function, and manage pain resulting from injury, illness, or surgery. PTs evaluate each patient’s physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and mobility training. They educate patients on prevention strategies, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term wellness. Working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers, Physical Therapists play a key role in rehabilitation and overall health improvement through evidence-based, patient-focused care.
