An Electroencephalogram Technologist (EEG Tech) is a specialized healthcare professional who records and analyzes the brain’s electrical activity to help diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, sleep disorders, and brain injuries. EEG Techs prepare patients, apply electrodes, and operate EEG equipment to capture accurate and high-quality readings. They monitor patient responses during tests and ensure safety throughout procedures. EEG Technologists work closely with neurologists and healthcare teams to interpret data and support effective diagnosis and treatment planning. With precision, patience, and technical expertise, EEG Techs play a crucial role in advancing neurological care and improving patient outcomes.
