An X-Ray Tech (Radiologic Technologist) is a medical imaging professional who operates X-ray equipment to capture images of a patient’s internal structures for diagnostic purposes. Working closely with radiologists and physicians, they position patients correctly, ensure proper radiation safety measures, and produce high-quality images to assist in diagnosing injuries or illnesses. X-Ray Techs typically complete an accredited radiologic technology program and are certified or licensed, depending on state requirements, playing a critical role in accurate and timely medical assessments.
