An RN Telemetry is a registered nurse who monitors and cares for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a telemetry unit. They observe heart rhythms using specialized equipment, assess patient conditions, administer medications, and respond promptly to any changes or arrhythmias. They collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to adjust care plans and educate patients and families about cardiac health and recovery.
