A Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed nursing professional who provides comprehensive and ongoing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age-related conditions. LTC RNs assess resident health status, administer medications and treatments, perform wound care, and manage care plans tailored to long-term needs. They supervise and support nursing staff, coordinate with physicians and families, and respond to changes in resident condition to ensure timely interventions. Working within an interdisciplinary care team, LTC Registered Nurses focus on maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
