A Dialysis Technician (Hemodialysis Technician) is a healthcare professional who operates dialysis equipment to help patients with kidney failure remove waste, excess fluids, and toxins from their blood. They prepare and monitor dialysis machines, ensure proper functioning during treatment, and closely observe patients for any adverse reactions or complications. Dialysis Techs are responsible for maintaining strict infection control standards, documenting treatment data, and supporting patient comfort and safety throughout each session. Working under the supervision of nurses and physicians, they play a critical role in delivering life-sustaining care in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and specialized dialysis centers.
